Efficiency Maine offers low-cost energy upgrades and enhanced electric vehicle rebates for eligible low- or moderate-income Mainers. These rebates are higher than the standard incentives, with the highest amounts for those who qualify as low-income. Efficiency Maine also offers home energy loans to eligible homeowners.

Qualified low-income households may be eligible for the highest rebates for electric vehicles (EVs), heat pumps, and insulation.

Efficiency Maine will verify income eligibility based on the information provided and then will delete sensitive taxpayer documents. For customers participating in the Manufactured (Mobile) Home Initiative, taxpayer documents will be stored securely due to federal funding reporting requirements.
This verification does not guarantee a rebate. Individual rebates may have additional requirements. Please allow 5 business days for notification of eligibility when submitting electronically. Income verification is valid for one year from date of notification. By completing this form you are giving Efficiency Maine permission to share eligibility status with contractors already engaged in your upgrade. For customers participating in the Manufactured (Mobile) Home Initiative, taxpayer documents will be stored securely due to federal funding reporting requirements.
